Terms of Service

Simple terms for using our services.

These Terms of Service apply when you request, book or use a service provided by Load & Revive.
By confirming a booking with us, you agree to these terms. They are intended to keep things clear and straightforward for both you and us.
Our services include rubbish removal, garden care, exterior cleaning and mobile car wash, along with any other work specifically agreed between us and you.

1. Quotes & Bookings

Quotes are based on the information provided to us, which may include descriptions, photos, quantities, measurements, location, access and other relevant details.
A booking is considered confirmed once the job, price and/or pricing basis, and booking arrangements have been agreed between you and Load & Revive.
Website prices and examples are indicative only unless we specifically confirm otherwise as part of your quote.

2. Customer Responsibilities & Access

Please provide reasonably accurate information about the job when requesting a quote or making a booking.
You are responsible for ensuring we have safe and reasonable access to the property, items, areas or vehicle required to complete the agreed work.
Where relevant, please also ensure we have access to any water or electricity that we have advised will be required.
If there are access restrictions, parking issues, stairs, unusually heavy items or anything else that could materially affect the job, please let us know beforehand.

3. Changes to the Job

We understand that sometimes the actual job may be different from what was originally described.
If the amount, condition, access, requirements or scope of the work is significantly different from the information used to prepare your quote, the price may need to change.
Where this happens, we will discuss the change with you before carrying out additional or materially different work.
You are free to decide whether to proceed with the revised work and price.

4. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately after the job is completed.
We accept Afterpay, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer and cash, subject to availability of the relevant payment method.
Normally, no deposit is required. However, for jobs that are larger in size and/or take longer to complete, we may require a deposit. Any deposit requirement will be discussed and agreed with you before the job starts.
Invoices or receipts are available on request.

5. Providing the Service

We aim to complete agreed work with reasonable care and in a practical, professional manner.
Some work may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including weather, unsafe conditions, access problems, equipment issues or other unexpected circumstances.
We may postpone, stop or decline work where we reasonably consider that continuing would be unsafe, impractical or outside the agreed scope of the job.
If weather or another issue on our side requires us to reschedule, we will contact you and arrange another suitable time where possible.

6. Rubbish & Items for Removal

For rubbish removal jobs, you are responsible for accurately describing the items or materials you want removed.
Some hazardous, restricted or specialist materials may not be accepted or may require different handling or disposal arrangements.
Please tell us beforehand if you are unsure about any particular material or item.
Once you clearly identify and authorise items for removal, we may treat those items as unwanted and arrange their removal or disposal accordingly. Please make sure nothing you wish to keep is included with items intended for removal.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice where possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
For cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee, particularly where time, travel, equipment or other resources have already been committed to the job. Whether a fee applies will depend on the circumstances.
If we attend the agreed location but cannot gain access, cannot contact you, or cannot complete the job because of circumstances on the customer's side, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable call-out or cancellation fee.
Weather-related rescheduling initiated by us will not attract a cancellation or rescheduling fee.
More information is available in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

8. Problems & Refunds

If you have a genuine concern about work we have completed, please contact us promptly and give us a reasonable opportunity to understand and assess the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate solution may include correcting or completing the work, another reasonable remedy, or a partial or full refund where appropriate.
Refunds are therefore considered according to the circumstances rather than automatically applying to every complaint or cancellation.

9. Responsibility for Existing Conditions

We will take reasonable care while carrying out our work.
However, please tell us about any known fragile, damaged, unstable or sensitive surfaces, items, fixtures, property or other conditions that could reasonably be affected by the work.
We are not responsible for problems caused by pre-existing damage or conditions that were not reasonably apparent to us, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

10. New Zealand Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable New Zealand law.
Where these Terms conflict with a legal right that cannot be excluded, that legal right will apply.
